Shasta County Mental Health Services Act Coordinator Ashley Saechao told us peer support specialists are included in the program to help guide people in completing these treatment plans.
“We want to improve patient care and provide a humanized approach,” Saechao said. “We want to build community capacity among first responders, individuals with mental health conditions, as well as mental healthcare providers, and others, to ensure collaboration in decision-making.”
